The Louisiana Boil Off! is a crawfish cooking competition for both the amateur and professional crawfish boiling houses of the region, all competing to see who prepares our native freshwater crustaceans the best. Attendees will be given 8 sample trays that will hold approximately 1/4 lb. of crawfish they choose from the 25 to 30 crawfish boiling teams onsite. Additional trays will be available to purchase for more tasty mudbugs!

The South Coast Food + Wine Adventure enhances the standing Louisiana currently holds as one of the most unique and historic culinary regions of the country. Not only does it complement Lafayette's reputation for having some of the finest chefs in the state, but its inclusion of top-quality wines makes it secondary only to New Orleans as a top destination for food and wine lovers. It also projects a positive image for our Gulf Seafood Industry by featuring a wide variety of seafood offerings among the dishes served at all of its events.
The Adventure kicks off Frida with the Opening Night "Joie du Vin" Dinner:
6pm Champagne Reception
7pm Sit-Down, 7-Course Dinner featuring 7 chefs with 7 matching wines
The Adventure continues Saturday evening with "The Grand Tasting" featuring over 200 wines for tasting as well as food from 12 of Lafayette's finest restaurants. 5pm - 10pm

Coordinated by Chef Patrick Mould who acted as Culinary Director for the 2012 Acadiana Wine and Food Festival. This is a fundraiser with a portion of the profits benefitting Chef Mould's Acadiana Culinary Fund established with the Community Foundation of Acadiana.
